Author : Karthik N Patel and Dr. Nischay N Gowda
Abstract
This research article aims to explore Vaastu Shastra's principles and implications for entrance design in residential and architectural contexts. A detailed architecture directing layouts of spaces and their impact on occupants' well-being, prosperity, and harmony is provided by the ancient Indian architectural concept known as Vaastu Shastra. Although entrances are important in architecture, there isn't much discussion in the contemporary culture about how Vaastu principles relate to them. By solving these objectives, the study hopes to add to the library of knowledge already available in the fields of cultural studies, interior design, and architecture. It also seeks to close the knowledge gap between traditional wisdom and contemporary methods, promoting greater awareness of the influence of cultural traditions on the built environment and the human experience. The ultimate goal of this research is to allow users and individuals to design spaces that support balance and overall well-being while also connecting with cultural heritage.
