Designing cafes with vastu: Maximizing comfort and well-being for patrons

Author : Vidhi Balar and Dr. Nischay N Gowda

Abstract

Designing cafes with Vastu principles is to create environments that improve customers' comfort, wellbeing, and good energy. An ancient Indian architectural discipline called Vastu Shastra places a strong emphasis on creating a harmonic balance between elements and directions in order to promote prosperity, happiness, and good health. This study looks into how Vastu is used in contemporary cafe design and how it affects both operational effectiveness and customer pleasure. This study offers an analysis of current literature and case studies to provide light on Vastu principles, their applicability in modern architecture, and workable recommendations for incorporating Vastu into cafe design. The results emphasize how crucial it is to combine conventional knowledge with contemporary design principles to produce environments that are both aesthetically pleasing and supportive of wellbeing.

Vastu-compliant cafes have the ability to improve customer satisfaction by creating a calm and inviting ambiance that encourages longer stays and repeat business. The article also addresses the difficulties and solutions that arise when implementing Vastu principles in modern environments, offering a fair assessment of both the advantages and viability of doing so.
