Abstract
Universities play a crucial role in fostering academic research and ensuring efficient knowledge management among students and faculty members. One of the key aspects of academic writing is effective literature management, which helps researchers organize, retrieve, and cite scholarly sources efficiently. Literature Management Applications (LMAs), such as Mendeley, Zotero, and EndNote, have become indispensable tools for managing references, improving citation accuracy, and enhancing research productivity. This paper explores how universities can promote the adoption of LMAs through digital literacy programs, research workshops, and institutional support. By integrating these applications into academic curricula and research methodologies, universities can significantly improve the quality and integrity of scholarly outputs. The study also discusses challenges such as resistance to technology adoption, lack of awareness, and the need for technical training. Finally, it provides recommendations for universities to develop structured training programs, ensure faculty engagement, and implement policies that encourage the use of literature management tools.
