Abstract
In the current era, the globalization of business, infrastructure bottlenecks, increasing uncertainty of supply chain networks, shortening of product life cycles, and rapid increase in the production variety have a force that influences firms to look beyond the walls. India is the largest consumer nation in the world. The continuous increase in food production in the agricultural sector will result in significant challenges for the country's storage and regulated market. A country with a large population, such as India, with an estimated 121 million people, necessitates supply chain management to establish a high level of trust between the system and the consumer. This paper exclusively depicts the administration of agri-business supply chains in India. Industry and academic estimates indicate that logistics and supply chain management consume 13% of the GDP. However, is this expenditure actually allocated in this manner? The marketing scenario of India is interconnected with agricultural production and marketing. This is due to the cost-effectiveness of the supply chain, the effective marketing system, the supply of commodities, and the occasional government intervention. However, the marketing system is imperfect and the market is regulated. In the right corner, both government and private organizations maintain awareness of certain reforms.
