This paper critically analyses the technological gap in dairy farming in Siddipet district of Telangana, focussing on the adoption of modern practices and their impact on productivity. Using a published scale-based methodology, this study identifies key areas where technological advancements are lagging and provides insights into the factors influencing technology adoption among dairy farmers. The findings highlight significant gaps in the adoption of advanced dairy farming technologies, suggesting the need for targeted interventions to enhance productivity and sustainability. Furthermore, the research delves into the challenges faced by dairy farmers in accessing and implementing modern technologies, such as high initial costs and lack of technical knowledge. By understanding these barriers, policymakers and agricultural extension services can develop tailored programs to support farmers in bridging the technological gap. Ultimately, addressing these issues can lead to improved efficiency, profitability, and overall growth in the dairy farming sector in Siddipet district.
