Abstract

The work-life balance has emerged as a big challenge for working professionals in the face of increasing job demands, stress, and high expectation from professional as well as personal life. These days, practice of meditation has been widely adopted as a work-life balance strategy; however, Rajyoga meditation, rooted in spiritual principles of self-consciousness and inner stability, remains underexplored in the workplace context. To fill in this gap, this study aims to understand how working professionals practicing Rajyoga, experience its role in balancing professional responsibilities and personal life. Using a descriptive and exploratory approach, a study was conducted on Rajyoga practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds. Experiences shared by the practitioners revealed key insights including stress reduction, enhanced emotional regulation, improved workplace relationships, and a sense of inner harmony and peace contributing to better work-life balance. The findings highlight Rajyoga meditation as a practical and holistic tool for professionals seeking psychological resilience and well-being in modern work environments.
