A brief study marketing strategies used in India by mobile industries

Abstract

The Indian mobile phone companies developed distinctive pricing strategies by carefully analyzing market dynamics, customer preferences, service characteristics, and organizational frameworks. This approach enabled them to sustain their market presence over time. Firms that failed to devise more effective pricing strategies than their competitors faced business failure. Conversely, over the past 25 years, the companies that have not only survived but also thrived and expanded are those that successfully evolved and refined their pricing strategies.
