PSO-based optimization of clustering methods in WSN using AI

Abstract

The term "wireless sensor network" (WSN) refers to a kind of network that uses a limited number of sensor nodes to track environmental variables, such as humidity, water level, pressure, and other metrics relevant to healthcare, security, and other fields. For effective operations and communication, these nodes usually contain battery power that may be self-supported. It is essential to implement energy saving strategies in order to maximize the performance of WSNs. Simulation for energy consumption, throughput and performance An method for WSNs called PSO- PDR, which stands for Enhanced PSO-Based Clustering Energy Optimization, is proposed in this study. This algorithm optimizes power consumption using PSO. To confirm the decrease in power use, performance measures are assessed and compared with competing clustering techniques.
