Entrepreneurial marketing practices and competitive advantage among owners in the small-sized enterprises in Dapitan city

Abstract
Entrepreneurial marketing is a hot topic among academics, marketing professionals, and company owners because of the increasingly dynamic and intense competition that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) encounter. In response to the uncertainty, complexity, fragmentation, and chaos that characterize today's business climate, innovative, entrepreneurial approaches are replacing the tried-and-true methods of traditional marketing. While entrepreneurial marketing strategies reflect an innovative orientation, the ways in which these strategies relate to or impact company performance can vary. Nevertheless, there is mounting evidence that, over time, entrepreneurial marketing helps firms gain a competitive edge. The primary aim of this study is to discuss the Importance of Entrepreneurial Marketing Practices in Small-Sized Enterprises (SMES) Particularly in Achieving Competitive Advantage. This quantitative study used descriptive-survey and descriptive-correlational methodologies to analyze entrepreneurial marketing tactics and competitive advantage among Dapitan City small-business owners. A structured questionnaire was given to 100 respondents, and 80 valid replies were obtained from a Department of Trade and Industry list. Data were analyzed using frequency counts, weighted means, standard deviation, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, and Spearman's rho in Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS at 0.05 significance. It is stated that the small firms in Dapitan City benefit from entrepreneurial marketing, which emphasizes client connection, opportunity identification, and value generation. Entrepreneurial marketing techniques and competitive advantage were strongly correlated, emphasizing their relevance for company success, but innovativeness did not.
