Kalyana Karnataka is a district in the southern state of Karnataka. It has been given special status for financial allocation, expenditure, and work progress under KKRDB’s Special Development Plan in the Kalyana Karnataka Region. The southern Kalyana Karnataka region government is trying to improve the overall financial allocation, expenditure, and work progress in different parts of the districts. The study aims to examine the Kalyana Karnataka Regional Development Board's overall financial allocation and expenditure district-wise in Kalyana Karnataka Region. to know the overall assessment of development districts' status in Kalyana Karnataka Region. The study found the report highlights significant disparities in fund allocation among districts. While Kalaburagi received the highest, Yadgir consistently received the lowest. This indicates possible inconsistencies in development planning. The focus on Kalaburagi, Bidar, and Raichur as priority districts has been beneficial but has led to gaps in other regions. Finally, they suggested the government should prioritise balanced and equitable fund allocation to ensure uniform development across all districts, particularly focusing on underfunded districts like Yadgir.
