This research paper investigates the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the pre-production phase of Indian filmmaking. As Indian cinema evolves within a rapidly digitizing global landscape, the adoption of AI technologies has started to reshape traditional methods of scriptwriting, casting, budgeting, and scheduling. The study explores the tools and techniques currently employed, their perceived benefits, and the structural, cultural, and technical limitations that hinder broader implementation.
